No trip would be complete without shopping and Kathmandu offers the best selection in Nepal. Everything from pashminas, hand carved wooden masks, thanka paintings, healing bowls (my best purchase ever), Tibetan carpets….it all depends on what takes your fancy and what you can carry back. Of course, no purchase is complete without the friendly bargaining and banter!

All Nepali Puppets have either 2 or 4 faces as it is supposed to depict the living and cultural aspects of Nepal such as the gods or festivals etc.
I think I am a bit too old for the 'red cookie monster' look LOL!
I bought this freckle felt rug 30 mins before leaving for the airport!
